About

A historic English apple with an extraordinarily rich, aromatic flavor combining pear, anise, and honey notes. The parent of Cox's Orange Pippin and one of the most important apples in breeding history.

Fun Fact

Ribston Pippin was grown from one of three pips sent from Rouen, France to Ribston Hall in Yorkshire. The original tree survived until 1928 and a graft of it still grows there.
